Star Sailors Reroll Guide

Rerolling in Star Sailors lets you reset your account and repeat the tutorial summons until you pull top-tier Partners. This guide explains the complete reroll process, who to prioritize, and how many summons you can expect per attempt.

How to Reroll in Star Sailors

Star Sailors supports guest accounts and easy account deletion, making rerolling straightforward. Each reroll attempt takes approximately 15-20 minutes from start to finish.

Step 1: Launch the game and select Guest Login (or use a secondary email). Step 2: Play through the tutorial until you clear Stage 1-5 and unlock Chapter 2 (about 10-15 minutes). Step 3: Complete your guaranteed tutorial 10-summon — you will always receive Caroline (Fire Debuffer, B-tier). Step 4: Check your mail for bonus summons (approximately 20 Limited + 20 Regular Summons). Step 5: Reach Account Level 5 to claim Event Bonus rewards (30 Limited + 20 Regular Summons). Step 6: Perform all summons on the Pickup and Standard banners. Step 7: If unsatisfied, go to Settings > Account > Delete Account, then restart from Step 1.

Who to Target When Rerolling

The ideal reroll pulls Nina from the Pickup banner (using Gold Compass) and either Jen or Kaira from the Standard banner (using Silver Compass). This gives you three top-tier units including the free Caroline.

Priority targets: Nina (Earth DPS) for boss damage, Jen (Fire Tank) for survivability, Kaira (Light Support) for healing. Heidi (Fire AoE DPS) and Iris (Light crit DPS) are also excellent. Do not settle for only Caroline — she is B-tier and will struggle in later content.

Summoning Rates and Expectations

Star Sailors has a 2% rate for 3-star (SSR) characters per pull. There is no traditional pity system, but 100 Recruit Points guarantees one featured character from the Pickup banner. With approximately 40 Limited and 50+ Regular Summons per reroll, you have reasonable odds of pulling at least one S-tier Partner.

Getting additional copies of a character increases their star grade (max 5-star), boosting stats but not unlocking new skills. One copy of an S-tier Partner is sufficient to stop rerolling.

Is Rerolling Worth It?

Rerolling is worth it if you want the strongest possible start and enjoy optimizing. If you prefer casual play, skip rerolling — B-tier and A-tier Partners can clear early content, and you will eventually summon S-tier units through gameplay.

The game balance is solid enough that no single character dominates everything. Element coverage and team synergy matter more than owning one specific S-tier unit. Reroll for Nina or Jen if you want the best start, but do not feel forced.
