Star Sailors Gear Guide
Gear and Memory Pieces significantly boost Partner power in Star Sailors. This guide covers equipment types, set bonuses, stat priorities, and when to invest in gear upgrades versus saving for summons.
Memory Pieces
Memory Pieces range from R to SSR rarity and must be equipped by characters of the matching role to activate effects. They affect core stats (ATK, DEF, HP). Sacrifice duplicates to enhance passive skills. The third copy unlocks Break Skill, and EXP upgrades the unique skill.
Prioritize SSR Memory Pieces for your main team Partners. Focus on pieces matching your Adventurer role first, then your primary Battle Partners. Do not spread resources across too many characters.
Gear Equipment
Gear ranges from UC to SSR with fixed Main Stats on Head, Top, and Bottom pieces, and random Main Stats on Necklaces and Rings. All pieces share the same Sub Stat pool. 2-piece and 4-piece set bonuses provide significant team boosts.
For beginners, Solemn Resolve (2-piece +15% ATK) on DPS Partners is the priority set. Farm Conquest after Chapter 3 for gear drops. Focus on Main Stats first — sub stats are secondary until you reach SSR gear farming in endgame.
Upgrade Priority
Skill upgrades are resource-intensive. Prioritize only the most useful skills on your main team — typically Ultimate and Break Skills first. Wait until late game before maxing all skills on secondary Partners.
Gear upgrade order: Main team Adventurer > Primary DPS Battle Partner > Tank > Assist Partners > Monster. Replace gear rather than heavily upgrading lower-rarity pieces — an SSR piece with good Main Stats beats a maxed UC piece.
